Yamaha has moved the center of gravity closer to the point of impact by adding a rib on the toe side of the clubhead, thereby maximizing rebound efficiency.

New material "X37" for increased ball speed:

• Thanks to the high-strength and tough X37 material, the initial speed of the ball on impact is improved. A precise casting process made it possible to achieve a sole thickness of just 1.1 mm. The rebound area of ​​the sole has been expanded compared to the previous model, which has significantly improved the deformation of the sole and the rebound performance in the lower area of ​​the club face.

Large tungsten weight in the rear sole area:

• A large tungsten weight (TYPE/D: 41g, TYPE/S: 77g) ensures an ultra-low center of gravity and thus exceptional distances and a high trajectory (center of gravity depth: 6.8 mm, center of gravity height: 18.1 mm).
